By producing several CD mock-ups, we decided that the best image was full bodied, close together and strong. The costume, gesture and facial expressions of the band had to be shown to have the desired effect upon the audience. We also felt that a black background work best and reinforced the powerful image of the band, whilst also making the red and white font stand out. We shot different poses in the photography room at school, utilising the lighting to create a professional look that was balanced and highlighted specific features. We decided upon two final images to make the up the front and back of our CD Cover and from the audience feedback the changes made really improved our product.
